Dubai - with the stars, a beautiful night in Dubai. What a place! I call it the "City of the Future".
This is a 6 second long exposure I took of the city skyline at blue hour. It's an iconic view of the city with the Burj Khalifa towering in the background and the modern skyscrapers.
About Serge Ramelli
Ever since I was a kid I wanted to create pictures that people could enjoy. I remember in the 80's when I started seeing the first computer generated images I was amazed by the colors and the drama. I became a huge fan of the epic and dramatic look that you experience in Cinema. Movies like Gladiator, Gone with the Wind, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan or Sherlock Holmes have such distinct drama with amazing sunsets, clouds and color themes. I know most of it is not real, but I still love it. Some of my photos are heavily retouched, some are not.
