Valensole lavendar field at sunset, in the south of France in Provence. I love this place. I was so happy to be there two days before harvesting before they would collect the lavendar when it was at its best peak, when it is the most colorful.
The leading lines of the purple lavendar bring your eye to a single tree silhouetted against the bright sunset sky.

Ever since I was a kid I wanted to create pictures that people could enjoy. I remember in the 80's when I started seeing the first computer generated images I was amazed by the colors and the drama. I became a huge fan of the epic and dramatic look that you experience in Cinema. Movies like Gladiator, Gone with the Wind, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan or Sherlock Holmes have such distinct drama with amazing sunsets, clouds and color themes. I know most of it is not real, but I still love it. Some of my photos are heavily retouched, some are not. What I'm looking for is something that communicates a message, something epic and an adventure. I am a landscape and urban photographer based in the US and Paris. My work has been shown in...
