The Seine River in the morning, a view of the Pont Neuf from the Pont des Arts

Paris, France
A beautiful long exposure capturing the still water of the Seine River before the boats travel down the river. The sun is peeking over the horizon, lighting up the sky with warm colors and reflecting in the Seine River.
The Pont Neuf connects to Ile de la Cite, the island in the center of the Seine River. The Square du Vert Galant is at the point of the island, and beyond that is the Conciergerie, Sainte Chappelle, Place Dauphine, and Notre Dame.

Ever since I was a kid I wanted to create pictures that people could enjoy. I remember in the 80's when I started seeing the first computer generated images I was amazed by the colors and the drama. I became a huge fan of the epic and dramatic look that you experience in Cinema. Movies like Gladiator, Gone with the Wind, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan or Sherlock Holmes have such distinct drama with amazing sunsets, clouds and color themes. I know most of it is not real, but I still love it. Some of my photos are heavily retouched, some are not.
